One of the boldest songs Marathi Films has seen till date. I love everything about this song, its tune, lyrics, singers and yes, the video... Absolutely subtle and gives the perfect glimpse of the movie its featured in! For those of you who haven't seen the movie, its definitely a "must watch". 

p.s: It's sad to see inhibitions, superstitions and traditions disgrace human species even in the 21st century!

Elogy a la Indienne!

Music has been an integral part of Indian Cinema and still continues in a direction of eternity! One of the best and most important factors is that its an aboriginal element of the Indian Cinema!

There is not a single emotion or a relationship that is not touched by Bollywood songs. If we discount that all songs depict emotions and only challenge the relationship factor, Bollywood songs beat all other types hands down. Relationships like - Lovers, parents, siblings, friends, students-teachers... You name it and Bollywood has it... The chances of meeting an Indian who does not appreciate Bollywood music, are extremely thin as its rather difficult to single out a person who doesn't have any relationships in his life! ;-)

A rather rare elogy by a woman! I love this song for its lyrics and of course because it has Meena Kumari as the protagonist! :-)

जावेद अख्तर

This is a song which has been on my hit list ever since I was single, in a relationship, engaged and now married! Its funny to go back and see how situations make the same thing appear so differently! All I can say is one has to be a true genius to make such a wonderful poem which never appears bad no matter what the situation is!! :-)

Cette une chanson par Celine Dion que j'aime beau coup!! Toujour ça fait long temps que j'avais écrit quel que chose en français! Et donc, je commence ce blog avec la langue que j'adore!! :-)
